Arapahoe Acres -
the first post-World War II residential subdivision listed as a historic
district in the National Register Historic Places. Constructed between 1949
and 1957, it is a remarkable community of one hundred and twenty-four
individually unique, modern homes. A variety of natural stone, brick, block,
wood and glass join in expressive combinations, unified by an austere palate
of earthtone colors and horizontal forms. Broad streets, circles and
landscaping provide sweeping, park-like views.
Instructional League - Professional baseball training organization for
high school and college athletes.
